As a lifelong Knoxvillian, I grew up here going to school, worshiping, playing sports, and learning the importance of a tight-knit community. I am a graduate of the University of Tennessee. My wife and I have been married for more than 20 years, and are the proud parents of two wonderful children. In my spare time, I have enjoyed coaching basketball, volunteering at my children’s schools and buying and selling antiques. We make our home in West Knoxville and are active members of Sacred Heart Cathedral Parish.
My family raised me to take pride in public service. My grandfather worked as a chemist at the Oak Ridge National Laboratories during World War II. My father has served as a judge for more than two decades. As an archaeologist for UT, I managed teams in the common goal of preserving the history of Knox County and greater East Tennessee. Currently, I have been fortunate to serve as Collections Coordinator and Legal Assistant in the Knox County Trustee’s Office. Working with Trustee Ed Shouse and our fine team, I have instituted successful programs that improved communications with the public, streamlined workflows, increased revenues and emphasized customer service.
I am honored to run in the August 2018 election as the Republican candidate for Knox County Circuit Court Clerk. If elected, I will work hard to reduce costs, maximize efficiency, return excess fees to the County and provide better service to the citizens of Knox County. I ask for your support, and most of all, your vote!
